We will begin a 54 day Rosary Novena on Tuesday, May 6th in thanksgiving for our new church grounds and for the election of a new Holy Father, that God will bless him. The novena will conclude on Saturday, June 28th, the Vigil of the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul.

Comenzaremos una Novena del Rosario de 54 días el martes 6 de mayo en agradecimiento por la nueva sede de nuestra iglesia y por la elección del nuevo Santo Padre, que Dios bendiga. La novena concluirá el sábado 28 de junio, Vigilia de la festividad de los santos Pedro y Pablo.

Starting this month, Fr. Fryar will be offering an Informational Talk Evening (“ITE,” which in Latin means “Go!”) in Spanish and in English on Fridays after the evening Mass. These formative talks are especially for those who are newer to the traditional Latin Mass or who want to learn more about  traditional Catholic practices in general. We incorrectly stated that the talks would alternate each week in Spanish and English. For continuity and better comprehension, the talks will be in Spanish in June and July, then in English for August and September.

A partir de este mes, el Padre Fryar ofrecerá un Instrucciones sobre  la Tradición y la Espiritualidad (ITE, que en latín significa "¡Vayan!") en español e inglés los viernes después de la Misa vespertina. Estas charlas formativas están dirigidas especialmente a quienes se inician en la Misa tradicional en latín o desean aprender más sobre las prácticas católicas tradicionales en general. Incorrectamente indicamos que las charlas se alternarían cada semana en español e inglés. Para mayor continuidad y mejor comprensión, las charlas serán en español en junio y julio, y en inglés en agosto y septiembre.

The St. Crescentia Women’s Group will meet this Tuesday, June 17th at 6 PM in the Church to pray for our priests and parishioners.

Today, June 15th, is our patronal feast day! Masses will be for the Feast of Ss. Vitus, Modestus, and Crescentia. We will have a Talent Show from 3-5 PM with refreshments available. A plenary indulgence under the usual conditions is available for those who visit a church on its patronal feast day, and pray the Creed and an Our Father.

Hoy 15 de junio es nuestra fiesta patronal. Las Misas se celebrarán en honor a los Santos Vitus, Modesto y Crescencia. Tendremos un Concurso de Talentos de 3:00 p. m. a 5:00 p. m. con refrigerios. Se ofrece indulgencia plenaria, bajo las condiciones habituales, a quienes visiten una iglesia el día de su fiesta patronal y recen el Credo y un Padrenuestro.

The Feast of Corpus Christi is Thursday, June 19th. The evening Mass at 6 PM will be a Sung Mass with many of our parish children receiving their First Holy Communion. There will be reserved seating for the First Communicants and their families.

La fiesta del Corpus Christi es el jueves 19 de junio. La misa vespertina a las 6:00 p. m. será cantada, y muchos de los niños de nuestra parroquia recibirán su Primera Comunión. Habrá asientos reservados para los que comulguen y sus familias.

Two weeks from now, June 22nd, we will celebrate the External Solemnity of Corpus Christi at the 11 AM Mass followed by a procession around the block. Streets will be blocked along the procession route starting at 11:30 AM, and no one will be allowed to drive on them until  after the procession has ended. Please see the maps of the procession route on the bulletin boards in the Parish Hall or at the Ushers’ Table.

Dentro de dos semanas, el 22 de junio, celebraremos la Solemnidad Externa del Corpus Christi en la Misa de las 11:00 AM, seguida de una procesión alrededor de la manzana. Las calles a lo largo del recorrido de la procesión estarán bloqueadas a partir de las 11:30 AM y no se permitirá el paso de vehículos hasta que la procesión haya terminado. Consulte los mapas del recorrido de la procesión en los tablones de anuncios del Salón Parroquial o en la Mesa de Ujieres.

We will host a Town Hall and Parish Fair on Saturday, July 12th after the 9:30 AM Mass. Parishioners who would like to display/sell their items and Parish Groups who would like a table to provide information should send an email to stvitusparishfair@gmail.com. The last day to sign up is June 28th.

​The Catholic Artists Guild is pleased to present a presentation on Guadalupe and The Flower World Prophecy by authors Joseph and Monique González Monday, June 23rd starting at 6 PM with Mexican music and food. At 7 PM, there will be a presentation in Spanish, and at 8 PM, there will be one in English.

El Gremio de Artistas Católicos se complace en presentar una presentación sobre Guadalupe y la Profecía del Mundo de las Flores, a cargo de los autores Joseph y Monique González, el lunes 23 de junio a partir de las 6 PM, con música y gastronomía mexicana. A las 7 PM, habrá una presentación en español y a las 8 PM, una en inglés.
